As we welcome the world into our home and backyard, I would first like to welcome you to the Park City Area Showcase of Homes.

The Showcase will feature 21 of the area's finest homes along with the latest concepts in design and construction. These new homes represent a full array of prices and show that all homes - no matter what the price - can be a showcase for its future owners.

These homes not only showcase the natural beauty of the area, but also highlight this area's nationally known reputation for one-of-a-kind design. This reputation is one that the world has kept a secret, but will soon be revealed.

As you tour the homes in this year's Showcase, several things will immediately become apparent. First, the Park City Area Showcase of Homes features some of the most expensive showcase homes in the nation.

The second thing that will become apparent is the high level of commitment to quality, which is demonstrated by the area's finest craftsmen. Visitors to this year's Showcase will notice the attention to detail and the desires of the prospective homeowner.

The Park City Area Home Builders Association is on the forefront of the latest concepts in design and construction. Strong emphasis and attention are given to the effects of new growth in the community to ensure that the quality of life, so unique to the area, is preserved. The HBA has stood in support of new regulations to protect the environment and the rights of property owners to allow for the creation of their dreams.

The proceeds from the Showcase of Homes are donated to local charities. These includes such groups as The Peace House of Summit and Wasatch counties, People's Choice Health Services, Park City Educational Foundation and many others.
